Michael Jordan's 1998 NBA Finals sneakers are set to shatter auction records.

The pair of red and black Air Jordans that the basketball icon wore during Game 2 where he scored 37 points and brought the Chicago Bulls to victory over the Utah Jazz.

The sneakers have already received a record-breaking bid of $1.8 million, which would make them the most expensive shoes sold at an auction.

That title is currently held by another pair of Jordan’s shoes - his Nike Air Ships, which sold for $1.47 million from Sotheby’s Las Vegas in 2021.
