A massive monitor lizard was found stuck in a motorcycle.

The hapless 2ft-long reptile wandered into a resident's garage and somehow tried to hide inside a scooter's front fender in Nakhon Pathom province, Thailand on March 28.

It was discovered later when house owner Jaruwat Kabkaew was about to use the white Honda Wave.

Footage shows the animal's sticking out of the space between the tire and the fender. Its head and upper body were tucked inside.

Jaruwat said: ‘I don't know why it would go there. I tried to pull it out, but it wouldn't come out. I even tinkered with the engine. I was not successful.

‘I went out for a moment to do an errand and call for help. When I returned home, it was gone.'
