Kind residents climbed inside abandoned house to save a kitten that fell from the roof.

The creature was first spotted trapped on top of the empty home in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Thailand on April 3.

But when the locals came to help it, the feline was gone and found it crying inside the property.

Footage shows a man scaling the fence to enter the abandoned house and pock up the feline using a cloth bag.

Resident Butsaraporn Oncha-am said: ‘We saw the cat from our house. We felt sorry for it and thought we should do something about it.'

The creature was taken back to the family's home and fed with milk on a bottle. It was later adopted by the good Samaritans.

Butsaraporn added: ‘Our new cat loved to eat tuna. She's very playful and we enjoy having her around.'
