A woman from Torrance, California has drawn the attention of the internet by showing how to properly use a potato peeler.

Filmer Jennifer Abernathy told Newsflare: "I realized that people thought their peelers were broken when they saw the blade swivel back and forth. I was shocked at the response of almost nobody out of the 1.8 million viewers (at the time) who knew that the tool swivelled, not because it needed to be fixed but because it was designed to peel forward and backward. It made me laugh, but I also realized that I should create a Kitchen 101 series where I show people how to use standard kitchen tools correctly. A few people thought the swivel was for left vs right-hand peelers and were shocked when they saw my video. I feel great when I can help educate people."
