This hardworking Thai mum makes a living as a car repair mechanic in the male-dominated profession.

Duenjai Tumdee, 51, runs the Bua Yai Mo Nam repair shop in Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand.

Footage from April 6 shows the gritty mum-of-two working diligently on a customer's six-wheel truck in her garage, wielding welding torches, wrenches, and other tools normally seen in the hands of a man.

Duenjai said she has been working as a radiator mechanic since 1994, adding she has two kids and is divorced from her husband.

She said: 'I work as a radiator mechanic because I enjoy it. I studied how to fix them so I could do it on my own, and eventually, I was able to open my own repair garage.'

Thanks to her reasonable fees, Duenjai receives around four customers per day, resulting in a steady income.

She said: 'I'm just as capable as men when it comes to my work. I can remove and fix radiators, patch holes in vehicles, reassemble parts, and test everything before returning the cars to my clients.

'Anyone, including women, can accomplish their goals, no matter how tiring or difficult, as long as are passionate about what they do.'
