Dozens of people in Brighton, East Sussex on England's southeast coast were seen queueing around the block on Good Friday (April 7) as the popular Ravens Bakery opened its doors to eager hot cross bun lovers.

The bakery, which is well-known for its famous buns, attracted people from across the city who were hoping to get their hands on the sweet treats.

As part of what has become an annual tradition, customers lined up along Ditchling Road waiting patiently for the bakery to open. Despite opening at 7:30am, many people had already been queuing for over an hour to ensure they got their share of the Easter treats.

The delicious aroma of the buns could be smelt from the road, adding to the anticipation and excitement of those waiting in line.

For many locals, the hot cross buns from Ravens Bakery are a must-have on Good Friday, and they are willing to wait in line for as long as it takes to get them. With their irresistible taste and long-standing tradition, it's no surprise that Ravens Bakery's hot cross buns continue to draw in crowds year after year.
