Semana Santa procession for Easter, catholic traditional ceremony carrying huge religious statues of jesus

This was an Easter procession in Oliva, a small town in the Valencia province. The religious parade lasted for hours and many different statues. They were traditional outfits some of which bring the ku klux klan to mind, however these procession far outdate the KKK by many hundreds of years. This was an amazing thing to see it was very sombre, but nice to see how communities come together to organise these events towards their religion
