On March 13th, 2023, in the village of Verkhnee Sancheleevo, Samara, Russia, a girl left her house to work and walked straight through deep water. In a video posted by @thorzhevskaya_tlt, the girl can be seen braving the floodwaters that had surrounded her home from three sides.

The flood was caused by a nearby lake that had overflowed its banks due to heavy rainfall. The Ministry of Emergency Situations was on site for three days to help with the situation. Despite their efforts, water entered the girl’s house in the kitchen and completely flooded the bathhouse and guest house.

Thankfully, the water has now receded and everything is dry. The girl and her family were able to weather the flood and come out on the other side.
