A playful panda "danced" on the tree branches at a sanctuary in southern China.

The hilarious video was filmed in Ya'an City in Sichuan Province on March 31.

A man named Liu and his wife visiting Bifengxia Panda Sanctuary captured the hilarious moment.

The giant panda climbed onto a tree with its hind legs on the lower branch and its front legs gripping the upper branch, before bouncing up and down in a playful "dance".

"We felt like our ticket for the day was worth every penny after seeing the panda's performance," Mr Liu joked.
