Seven men have been arrested in Volusia County, Florida, for engaging in lewd behavior in several public parks.

The arrests were made as part of a two-day undercover operation conducted on the 5th and 6th of April by sheriff's deputies and police in various locations across the county. The operation was conducted following complaints of sexual activity in the parks. Body-worn footage shows the undercover officers observing each defendant exposing himself and engaging in a sex act before taking them into custody.

Daniel S. Osborne, one of the defendants, was found to be on felony probation for attempted first-degree murder, while Scott Downer had a previous arrest for a similar incident in 2017. All defendants face criminal charges for exposure of sexual organs and have been issued trespass warnings for the respective parks.

The operation was a joint effort between the East and West Volusia Crime Suppression Teams, Deltona Crime Suppression Team, and the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force. The authorities plan to conduct similar operations in the future to deter lewd activities in public parks across the county.
