‘My size medium Zara top arrived the size of my HAND’ Part 2/2
A woman was left in stitches after ordering a top from Zara that turned out to be the same size as her hand.
Fashion lover Mh’ya Mclean, 24, ordered the black top from the fashion brand online in her usual size medium.
After opening the package, the stylist from London could not believe her eyes when she saw how miniature her new garment was.
She ordered it for £29.99 alongside a matching skirt that accurately matched her expectations.
In a clip shared to TikTok, Mh’Ya compares the tiny item to her own hand and even found the top to be smaller than a candle.
The video has since gone viral, racking up 8.8 million views and 465,000 likes.
Fashionistas rushed to the comments to share their thoughts, with many pointing out the top is made from “popcorn fabric”. The material, which was popular in the 90s has the ability to stretch.
Others were left crying with laughter at the blunder.
One person said: “I thought this was a jumper for a dog.”
“I ordered that for my hamster, I think they messed up our packages,” joked someone else.
Another user wrote: “The candle reference took me out.”
“Zara’s sizing has taken on a new level of madness,” said another person.
Someone else commented: “The 90s girls remember.”
“This is a 90s popcorn style fabric, it’ll stretch to 10x its size,” said another user.
Thankfully My’ah was able to squeeze into the tiny top.
She shared another clip of herself wearing the top as she flaunts her stylish new outfit in the street.
“I was definitely shocked, I didn’t expect it to come looking as it did,” My’ah told NeedToKnow.co.uk.
“I did find the humour in it as I knew it would stretch, but I had no clue how much.
“Everyone seems equally as shocked, and have managed to find humour in how tiny they have arrived.
“Some hate the idea of seersucker tops coming back in fashion, I personally love it.
“There are people who don’t seem to be surprised by the size of clothes as Zara is notorious for their clothes running small.”
