Firemen drag huge crocodile across beach in Malaysia
Firemen dragged a huge crocodile across a beach in Malaysia.
The team was called when the 8ft-long reptile became stuck in a fisherman's net in Lundu Beach in Sarawak on April 7.
After freeing the creature, volunteers tied its body with a rope and took it back to shore.
Footage shows eight firemen and villagers pulling the animal on a makeshift sledge across the sand during low tide.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department officer Abdul Rahman Sabi said: ‘Upon arriving, we saw the crocodile was tangled up in a fishing net on the beach.'
The crocodile was sent to the Department of Wildlife and National Parks in the nearby Matang district.
