Yellow dust from Chinese desert regions arrived and spread across Japan with gusty winds, causing hazy skies and poor visibility on April 12.

In China, it swept across Beijing and other regions, sending air pollution surging to hazardous levels on Monday and Tuesday.

Clips show visibility reduced as the dust swept over Akasaka Kaigan and Himezu. A passenger on a flight from Kobe to Sapporo recorded the scene out their window.
