Hit and Run Driver Injures Two and Causes Death of Unborn Baby
HEMET – On 04/09/2023 at about 3:30 am, Hemet Fire Department responded to reports of a traffic collision with injuries near the intersections of Palm Ave and Wahl St.
Arriving crews located a dark colored sedan and a silver SUV with major front end damage that seemed to have been involved in a head on crash.
Two occupants of the sedan, a male and female were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. The female who was 7 months pregnant unfortunately lost the baby at the hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene after causing the accident and as of today it’s unknown if police have identified the suspect or if he has been aprehended.
