Resort cottages were destroyed in floods during tropical depression Typhoon Amang in the Philippines.

Video shows the wooden huts damaged by strong winds and a heavy downpour, while gushing floods flowed through the resort in Labo town, Camarines Norte province, on April 12.

The tropical depression named locally as 'Amang' made landfall in the archipelago's Catanduanes province on April 11 evening.

As of April 13, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said around 275 people in the Bicol region have been evacuated from their homes.

State weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Amang was moving northwest, warning of possible landslides and flash floods.

It is expected to weaken into a low pressure area by today, the agency added.
