Today, 15th April 2023, on the 111th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, a memorial service took place at the Titanic Memorial Garden located in the grounds of Belfast City Hall

On the 111th anniversary of the Titanic sinking, which occurred on April 15th, 1912, a memorial service was held at the Titanic Memorial Garden situated within the Belfast City Hall grounds.
The event was attended by Councillor Michelle Kelly, Deputy Lord Mayor, and Susie Millar from The Titanic Society.
The garden has a plinth with the names of the 1512 individuals who perished in the tragic event, and their relatives laid roses there in remembrance. Additionally, wreaths were placed at the Titanic Statue in the garden.
