Video from numerous Air Drops at a wild fire in Pennsylvania

A brush fire spread causing damage to Saint Michael’s Cemetery and required the evacuation of a Trailer Park in the Springfield / Marshall Town Coal Township.
This wild fire covered more than 10 acre’s as the PA Department of Natural Resources along with several dozen firefighters from several surrounding counties along with air drops tried to gain the upper hand bringing the fire under control.
Coal Township Fire Department Chief Russ Feese said the incident started shortly before 13:00 Hrs. as a vehicle fire on a remote dirt trail at the base of a steep mountainside south of St. Edward’s Cemetery.
“She must have been going to a party spot, because it dead ends down there,” “that the unidentified woman and her two young children escaped unharmed.” The flames aided by a breeze from the southwest spread up the mountainside.
“We were trying to keep it from going toward the houses. We had an all-out effort on top, here, from keeping the fire from (spreading),” Feese stated from St. Michael’s Cemetery, which often filled with thick smoke.

Multiple EMS crews were called to the scene after a pair of firefighter was injured while fighting the wild fire. Both were determined to have non-life-threatening injuries and should recover.
Aircraft made numerous drops, causing an unknown female along with tombstones to be covered in a nontoxic red fire retardant.
