A team of dedicated cat rescuers known as Ming Zai saved a kitten trapped in the walls in southern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Foshan in Guangdong Province on January 31.

Ming Zai rescue team recorded the video and published it on their Douyin (Chinese TikTok) channel.

The kitten was discovered trapped in a crannied wall on the tenth day of the first month in the Chinese lunar calendar, so it was named Chu Shi (which means the tenth day of the first month of the year).

The team initially tried to find a female cat to adopt Chu Shi but failed. So they decided to take care of it themselves.

The team leader named Liao and his members have helped more than 1,000 cats out of 1,400 stray animals they saved find new homes.

A professional stray cats rescue team called Ming Zai recorded and published footage of the whole process of rescuing a stray and raising it up on Douyin, China’s TikTok.

The kitty was rescued from a crannied wall; and it was named Chu Shi, the same as the date that it was found (the tenth day of the first month in the Chinese lunar calendar).

The team tried to find a female cat as Chu Shi’s mother at first but the female cat refused so the members reared it in person.

On the basis of his massive influence on Douyin, the team leader Liao and his members have helped over 1,400 strays, in which more than 1,000 cats have found their new homes.
