Woman uses N-word in racist tirade after allegedly claiming cashier overcharged her
A woman used the N-word during a racist tirade after getting into an argument at a gas station.
Video shows the altercation at the Marathon Gas Station on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, on February 19.
The row allegedly started after the woman claimed the cashier overcharged her at the counter.
In the foul-mouthed rant, the customer is heard saying: "F*** you and you too, neither one of you can speak English....I don't care, f*** you and this store!"
As she picks up her groceries and leaves the gas station she can be heard calling the employees "sand n******", to the audible shock of the filmer."
The customer, who filmed the video and wished to remain anonymous, said: "The woman in the video claimed that she was overcharged by the cashier and the cashier argued that she was not. "
"Another employee came over to assist and she started to berate them with racially charged insults and subsequently slurs."
"I was there to purchase a drink, when the woman left, the cashier explained to me what happened and that was the end of it."
The customer, who is a person of colour, explained the shock he felt.
He said: "I was sick to my stomach when I heard her use that word."
"Unfortunately, it is a word that I've heard used in the same context before but it is never something you get used to. "
"It strikes especially hard as a person of color."
The police were not called and no report was filed.
