The woman said that while she was moving to work in the rice fields, she suddenly noticed a moving yellow animal. As she approached, she saw that it was an eel. The eel is large and long. Soon she brought the eel home and put it in a glass tank. The eel is about 1 meter long and weighs nearly 900g.
Many curious people came to see her strange eel.
Locals say that seeing a golden eel is a good omen, signaling a good harvest. The woman said she will keep the eel to feed and hope it can bring good crops to the villagers.
According to scientists, eels are usually black or brown, but the eel found by the woman had a color mutation, so the eel is yellow. This is a rare case of color mutation in nature
