Plus size clothing stores in Asia have some VERY direct names
Amusing footage shows plus size clothing shops in Asia - with some very direct names.
The body-positive stalls catering for plus size men and women are found at the Krung Thong Plaza in Bangkok, Thailand.
But shopping there is not for the easily offended - with names such as Fat Girls, Love Calories, Fatty Fatgirl, Lady Curv, Pink Piggy, Pig Pig, Fat Cat and Bee Bee Fat.
One shop gets straight to the point - with a sign outside emblazoned simply with ‘Chubby'.
The market is equally straight-talking with its male customers, who can buy large garments at Fat Boys, Chubby Man and Bigsize Room.
Tourists have been amused by the shop names and posted videos of some of them on social media.
One visitor Kirsty Aldridge said: ‘I visited and found it quite funny. The shop names were just normal for people there. Nobody thought they were strange.
‘I think it's just a cultural difference. But it's also nice, because the names are very open and positive. They don't fat shame.'
Thailand's Department of Health reported last month that one in 10 children are obese and warned the situation will become worse if parents fail to teach their children about healthy food.
Dr Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoenchai said youngsters are exposed to food containing unhealthy levels of fat, sugar and salt.
He urged parents and teachers to take personal responsibility and teach youngsters how to choose good food and how a poor diet can affect their heath.
