Stray kitten rescued from hot truck engine
This is the heartwarming moment a stray kitten was rescued from a pick-up truck's engine compartment.
The baby animal's cries surprised driver Promphiram Wangkiree, 35, as he was traveling in Loei province, Thailand.
He parked the vehicle and inspected the engine compartment, retrieving a white moggie that had found its way inside.
He said: 'I was wondering where the sound was coming from since there was no cat in the passenger seats. I was shocked that it was actually hiding in the engine. It was trembling and weak from the heat.'
He added that the kitten luckily survived the ordeal and was adopted by a kind villager.
