A man in Volgograd, Russia has caused extensive damage to a grocery store located on one of the streets in the area. The incident occurred on April 14, 2023, when the director of the grocery store reported to the police department that an unknown person had come to the store and broken 12 refrigerators, electronic scales, and a cash desk with a crowbar. The police operatives soon apprehended the suspect, who was identified as a previously convicted 45-year-old man.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region, the man had come to the store earlier in the day while under the influence of alcohol. After some time, he returned to the store armed with a crowbar and proceeded to smash almost all the property located in the store.

The incident has caused significant financial losses for the grocery store, and the issue of initiating a criminal case under the article "Deliberate damage to another's property" is currently being resolved by the authorities.
