Powerful winds shattered car windows with blown sand and stones in northwest China.
Video filmed in Toksun County in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on April 18 shows powerful winds blowing the sand and stone up, causing cars to be trapped in the visibility of less than ten metres.
The glass windows on the cars were seen cracked and even shattered.
According to the local meteorological observatory, the orange-level warning (the second strongest) for high winds was upgraded to red (the strongest level) at 1:21 pm on April 18.
