Villagers use excavator to rescue baby cow trapped in narrow drain
Villagers rescued a baby cow trapped under a narrow drainage hole using an excavator.
The farmers found one of the cattle stuck in the bottom of the concrete shaft in a field where the creature had been grazing in Bangkok, Thailand on April 4.
But even after four people helped together, they couldn't carry the animal out until a heavy equipment operator passed by, which they luckily flagged down to help them.
Footage shows the construction machinery pulling the rope tied around the cow's body. The exhausted creature was released on the road with muddy limbs.
The excavator's driver Manowanoi Saijok said ‘The animal was safe and returned to the farm where it lives. I am always happy to help.'
