Britain's only Scorpion colony living in Kent
The Blue Town district of Sheerness in Kent, UK is the only place in Britain where you can find a colony of Yellow-Tailed Scorpions.
The colony has been established in the former Royal Navy dockyard wall for more than 200 years - originally arriving by ship - and considered to be the most northerly population of scorpions in the world.
Footage captured this evening (April 25), shows the distinctive pincer claws of a scorpion poking out of a crevice in the brickwork of the wall.
Scorpions glow in the dark under UV light.
