At least two people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a Bangkok restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.

The blast ripped through the Evaime Shabu Shabu Cafe along Soi Thong Lor 5 on April 25, reportedly due to a leaking gas cylinder that blew up.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire shortly after 5:30 PM. Windows and glass entrances were shattered, and various pieces of kitchen equipment were damaged in the explosion that gutted part of the restaurant.

At least two people, including a child, were injured and have been rushed to the Camillian Hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the blast.
