The adorable 10-year-old pooch named Uni in then ridden through the streets around his family home in Tokyo, Japan.
Cute pictures show how the steel and wicker basket presses against his fur leaving a grill shape on his body.
Uni's owner said: ‘He's the best cycling companion. He enjoys sitting inside the basket, and I can travel around the neighbourhood with him too. It's always a fun ride with him.
'He's an old dog now so he likes to nap in the basket. He can squeeze in, it's his favorite place.'
