A woman filmed as she rescued a sloth struggling in the middle of a road in Coqueiro Seco, Brazil, on February 11.

Claudia Pereira spotted the animal lying on the tarmac without moving. She then picked the sloth up and proceeded to lift it towards the vegetation at the side of the road.

After Pereira places it down, the sloth turns around to look at the filmer almost as if it was giving a look of gratitude.

In a heartwarming act of kindness, Claudia Pereira rescued a sloth in the middle of a road in Coqueiro Seco, Alagoas, Brazil. The incident occurred on the 11th of February, 2023 and was captured on video by @claudiapereira2020, which has since gone viral on social media.

In the video, Pereira can be seen approaching the sloth, which was lying on the tarmac road without moving. She carefully takes the sloth by its back and carries it to some vegetation cover alongside the road. The sloth, seemingly grateful for the help, starts moving once placed on the vegetation.
