A kind driver stopped and climbed out of his car to help an old woman cross the street.

Footage shows the man running up to grandmother with a severely hunched back before assisting her to the other side of the road in Tarlac province, the Philippines on April 8.

The good Samaritan, named Lloyd, politely motioned for the oncoming vehicles to stop so the elderly could safely walk to her destination.

Proud wife Alyszha Mae Jean Castro said the old woman was scared of the big buses that passed, so her husband decided to stop and help.

She said: ‘We saw the old woman waiting on the side, but she seemed hesitant to cross because of the buses. My husband asked me to wait and went to the grandmother.'

The senior woman reached the other side safely, and the couple went on their way.
