Worm appears in sanitary towel in China
An unpleasant video has emerged from China of a live worm found inside a sanitary towel.
The footage, filmed in Heilongjiang Province on Monday, shows the tiny animal crawling on the surface of the product with a few black spots at the edge which seem to be the eggs.
According to news reports, the customer Ms Liu found the unpleasant object when she was about to use the towel she bought last month.
After calling the customer service, the company asked Ms Liu to send over the piece as they needed a check before deciding whether to take the responsibility.
