Woman covered in blood cries and shows aftermath of missile strike on Uman, Ukraine
A Russian missile strike on Uman, Ukraine's Cherkasy Oblast, has killed at least 10 people and injured 17 others. The attack occurred in the early hours of April 28.
Russia has also carried out airstrikes in other cities including the capital Kyiv, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Poltava. The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 21 out of 23 cruise missiles that were launched from the Caspian Sea.
This footage, obtained by the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency of News (UNIAN), features images of the explosions heard in Uman, as well as the fire that broke out in a nine-storey residential building after the attack.
The video also shows a resident crying, named Tatyana, with her face and hands covered in blood. She films the aftermath of the attack from one of the buildings affected by the strike. She shows the damages: her windows are shuttered and the rooms are upside down due to the blast.
In the clip, provided by Unian, she says that a missile hit her house and broke her windows and that she doesn't hate Russians.
"The children were sleeping there but everyone is alive. We are all covered in blood", she says.
