A fire that broke out in a wooden shack in the city of Sao Paulo has left several families homeless. The blaze started around 4:00 am and quickly spread among the other makeshift houses in the area, reducing a section of the community to ashes.

According to witnesses, some residents were able to salvage what little they could from the wreckage, while others were left with nothing. The incident also resulted in the loss of some animals, which were unable to escape the flames. Although a family was reportedly rescued alive, the community remains in a state of despair and uncertainty.

The Sao Paulo state fire department was present at the site to extinguish the fire.
