According to government regulations, traders are not allowed to sell all the way to the market, so that tourists visiting the city of Padang are comfortable. "Traders are no longer comfortable for tourists, there are many reports of the condition of beaches in Padang being dirty and damaging the cleanliness of Padang beaches, they are selling because many tourists enter the city of Padang on the Eid al-Fitr holiday,".

The West Sumatra provincial government noted that as many as 2.9 million tourists entered the West Sumatra region.
