Shoppers and motorists filling up at a seaside towns Co-Op filling station were treated to the spectacle of a visit by approx 100 visiting Hells Angels and Red Chief motorcyclists. A wide variety of powerful motorcycles and trikes are observed. The Red Chiefs are a West Country based club with chapters as far west as Penwith which includes Lands End. The Red Chiefs are also a 81 Support club and often sport a patch with 81. This means they approve and support The Hells Angels. The Eight and One representing H and A in the alphabet. It is frowned upon to put it mildly by The Hells Angels for anyone not officially badged into the group to wear Angels insignia. Both groups are involved in charity work. Though conflict with other motorcycle groups is not unknown. Such groups are legal in the UK but outlawed in the US and many European countries.
