The suspect is seen being detained and beaten by four officers, resulting in injuries to his face, eye socket, jaw, and nose. Police claim the force used was justified as they believed the suspect was reaching for a gun in his waistband.
The suspect's family plans to sue for excessive force. The police chief has requested a criminal review by the Weber County Attorney's Office.
