Camels in the Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, have been given their own traffic light system.

This is because there are two intersections between pedestrian walkways and camel paths in the scenic area, which sometimes leads to congestion. The creatively designed signal light not only solves the congestion problem but also makes itself a popular new tourist spot for taking photos.

During the Labour Day holiday, the scenic spot welcomed a surge in visitors, receiving over 20,000 visitors in a single day on April 30.

The camel riding experience was especially popular, with some visitors saying: "We finally avoided traffic congestion during the May Day holiday, only to be stuck in line for camel rides at Crescent Spring."

On May 1, the scenic area staff said there are more than 2,400 camels in the area, but due to the high volume of tourists, there is still high demand and a waiting time of about an hour.

The video was filmed on April 30 and provided with local media’s permission.
