Terrified School Head Flees Bear In Dumpster In Nicholas County, WV, USA

A school principal in Nicholas County, West Virginia, USA was surprised when a black bear appeared from inside the dumpster as he opened it on May 1, 2023.
The bear had apparently gotten into the dumpster through a trash slot looking for food but could not get out again until the lid was opened. The principal fled in one direction while the bear ran off towards woodland.
The principal returned after the bear had left, and was seen discussing the incident with a member of his staff.
