Giant statue is set to be world's tallest lighting projection art installation
A 60-meter giant statue - which is equivalent to a 20-storey high-rise building - is set to be the world's tallest lighting projection art installation.
The artpiece ‘The Victor' is designed by Filipino-American artist Jefre Manuel Figueras and is under ongoing construction in Metro Manila, the Philippines.
Footage from May 1 shows the figure towering over the buildings and structures at the busy city.
Its blueprint also includes a bridge across the Pasig river, with the statue standing on one end, that will connect two cities.
Robinsons Land CEO Frederick Go, from the company that commissioned the massive structure, said: ‘Our hope is that this monument becomes a lot like the monuments you see in the world. The ones that when you go to, you have to rub the foot for good luck.'
