The G10 Favelas in Paraisopolis, Sao Paulo, organized an Employment Desk to mark Labor Day and assist community members who are currently unemployed.

This event provided job opportunities, as well as motivational lectures and job search guidance to candidates. The Emprega Comunidades startup, also known as the "LinkedIn of Favelas," is a social impact business committed to connecting employers with job seekers in the favelas.

Through training and upskilling programs, the organization prepares residents of Brazil's outskirts for job market entry by showcasing existing job opportunities. The founder of Emprega Comunidade, Rejane Santos, was present on-site to oversee the event and offer support to attendees.
