Deputy Jerry Weber saves a choking female motorist by performing the Heimlich manoeuvre on her in Noble County, Indiana.
Dramatic dashcam footage captured the moment Weber, who was on routine patrol, heard about the incident on his radio and quickly rushed over to help.
The technique involves a rescuer standing behind the victim, wrapping their arms around them and applying pressure to their diaphragm to expel the object lodged in their windpipe.
The motorist suffered no serious injury, and Weber's heroic actions were praised by the Noble County Sheriff's Department.
