A man was stopped by police for driving an engine-powered bathtub along a road in Kugoeiskaya, southern Russia.

Footage from May 1 shows the moment traffic police pulled the makeshift motorist who didn't have a licence.

Somehow the driver managed to use the bathtub handles to steer the vehicle.

The police ended up taking the makeshift vehicle off the road and the driver who they claim was intoxicated.

In a small village in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, an unusual sight was seen on the streets on 1st May, 2023. A man was driving an engine-powered bathtub as if it were a regular car. The vehicle was stopped by traffic police in the village of Kugoeiskaya, and it was found that neither the driver nor the bathtub had a license to be on the road.

According to reports, the driver had attached wheels to the bottom of the bathtub and put an engine from a moped to make it run. The bathtub was being used as a makeshift car, with the driver sitting inside and using the handles of the tub to steer. The driver claimed that the bathtub was not running well, which is not surprising given its unusual design.

However, it was not just the design of the vehicle that was a problem. The driver was also found to be intoxicated, and the smell of alcohol was strong. As a result, the police took him off the road and impounded the engine-powered bathtub.
