When feline sharing goes wrong: a tale of cat rivalry caught on camera
A recent video captured by @alayna.senda on 1st March, 2023 in Milwaukee, USA, shows an example of feline competition and conflict over a blue bowl of water and raises questions about the nature of cat behavior.
In the video, two cats are seen occupying the same space, with one cat sitting near the blue bowl and the other cat approaching from the side. The second cat then hits the first cat with its hind leg, signaling its intention to take over the spot. The first cat moves away, apparently giving up its claim to the speaker, while the second cat settles down. The scene lasts for only a few seconds, but it reveals a lot about the social dynamics of cats.
