Shuttle bus collides with glass wall at China’s airport, no injuries reported.
Today on May 5, an empty shuttle bus crashed into the glass wall of a remote parking lot at Terminal 3 of Xiamen Airport in Xiamen, southern China, causing glass shards to fall to the ground. Fortunately, no passengers were injured.
Xiamen Airport immediately activated its emergency response procedures, and relevant units rushed to the scene to handle the situation. At present, the airport is operating normally and has not been affected.
According to staff from Xiamen Municipal Public Security Bureau, the accident was caused by the driver's failure to steer the vehicle properly. The flights departing from nearby boarding gates were delayed for approximately one hour beyond their scheduled departure times due to the incident.
The video was provided with local media’s permission.
