Aerial video taken on May 5, 2023 shows the residential project of the athletes' village for the Youth Games in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The completion ceremony of the athletes' village and the unveiling ceremony of the village committee for the first National Student (youth) Games was held in Nanning, capital of South China's Nanning province, May 4, 2019. It is understood that the first National Student (youth) Sports Meeting will be held in Nanning, Guangxi this November. The total land area of the project is 338 mu, the total construction area is about 680,000 square meters, and the construction of 30 residential buildings and 3336 suites. According to the requirements of the competition, the project planning and construction includes arrival and departure and visitor center, medical center, security center, property maintenance center, volunteer service center, cultural interactive exhibition center, business center, anti-doping education and development center and doping testing center, as well as athletes' apartment, athletes' restaurant, fitness area, village committee office area and other supporting functional facilities. During the event, more than 8500 athletes and coaches can be accommodated at the same time.
