As the new king made his way through the streets of London, a group of vocal protesters, who are against the monarchy, gathered in Trafalgar Square to express their dissent. They held up signs, chanted slogans and voiced their opinions loudly.

The protesters, who identify themselves as Republicans, are advocating for a new system of government without a monarchy. They believe that the monarchy is outdated, expensive and undemocratic. Some of them have also criticized King Charles III for his views on certain issues.

The police were present at the scene to maintain order and ensure the protests did not turn violent. The demonstrations remained peaceful, however, various people throughout the day were either arrested or hand the occasional bouts with the Police and Royalists who were next to them during the day.

The coronation procession continued despite the protests, with King Charles III eventually making his way to Westminster Abbey for his official coronation ceremony.

This event has once again sparked a debate about the monarchy's role in modern-day society. While some people believe that the monarchy is an important symbol of tradition and heritage, others argue that it is time for a change and for the UK to move to a Republic.
