Residents of Nansledan, a town owned by the Duchy, organized an Indian-themed barbecue for their Coronation street party in Cornwall on Saturday, May 6. The main thoroughfare was closed for the day, and entertainment for all ages was provided.

The commercial enterprises located in the town also supported the event, with Jimmy, the chef proprietor of Shiva Restaurant and Cafe, organizing the outdoor barbecue. The town's Ladyvale Bakery provided coronation-themed cakes, while Langley's specialist chocolate provided delicious chocolates for the attendees.

The event turned out to be a great success, with a large number of people attending and enjoying the festivities.

King Charles is the inspiration for this large new town under construction over a generation. Six hundred homes are completed in this unique eco friendly development, thousands more are to come. Every aspect of the new town are in line with the Kings wishes and design philosophy.
