This is the shocking moment a garage roof collapsed during a powerful storm in Thailand.

CCTV shows a family's vehicle leaving the driveway in Bangkok amid heavy rain on April 30.

Shortly after the car emerged from the gates, the garage roof crashed, apparently from the weight of rainwater pooling on top of it.

Homeowner Nontat Tangchan said: 'I feel terrible and I'm still in shock from the incident. I never thought this would happen since the house is newly built. It would take hundreds of thousands of baht to fix the damage.'
