Boy miraculously survives after roller skating collision with truck in China
A 9-year-old boy collided with a heavy truck while roller skating down a slope, causing severe injuries in southwestern China.
Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province on April 15 shows a boy sliding onto the main road, directly in the path of a passing truck.
The child collided with the middle wheel of the truck, which sent him flying nearly eight metres away.
After the accident, the boy was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, and local police immediately dispatched personnel to investigate the incident.
The boy reportedly suffered multiple fractures, internal bleeding in the skull, lung bruises, and other injuries, but luckily, he was not in a life-threatening condition.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck, Mr Li, was subjected to a breathalyser test, which showed 0mg/100ml. He was taken back to the station for further investigation.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing and the video was provided by local media with permission.
