This is the moment an entire tent flew into the sky as a storm blew through a market in eastern Thailand.

Footage shows strong wind battering stalls at the Hua Sanam Bin Market in Chonburi province on May 9.

As the gales intensified, several stands were ripped from their spots, with one tent lifted into the air by the whirlwind.

After the wind died down, the other vendors anchored down their tents with weights to keep them from being blown away.

Locals believe the incident was caused by the hot weather.
